Who is Hot Rod Jen?

Hello! I’m Jennifer, better
known as Hot Rod Jen. I’ve been pinstriping for over 20 years, and along
the way I learned traditional lettering and gold leaf.
Working out of central
Pennsylvania, I split my time between traditional client work, and creating my
own artwork where boundary free pinstriping designs are my focus.
When working for my clients I work within each customer’s scope, knowing when to keep
things mild, push them wild, or stay on the period‑correct side to keep within the
historical style of the project on hand.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I wax my vehicle after pinstriping?

I recommend waiting a month for the paint to fully cure before applying any waxing products

How long after pinstriping should I wait to wash my car?

30 days and then stay away from pressure washers and the automatic car washes after pinstriping. Hand wash pinstriped and hand lettered areas only.

How much does pinstriping cost?

Custom artwork has a lot of variables to consider so to give the customer a quote some important information is needed before giving one, I will need to know the year/make of the vehicle, placement, colors, size that you have in mind. After receiving that information I will work out an estimate for you.

How far do you travel?

Most work I prefer to do in my shop in Pennsylvania where I am in control of my surroundings to give the customer my best work. If I do travel there is a travel fee added onto the total of the job.

A lot of my artwork is made on commission if you are interested in having a custom piece made feel free to send me a message using the form to the right!
